Please let me introduce you to F.A.S.T., The Foundation for Automotive Safety and Trends. F.A.S.T was formed by Mike Bender, who has over 30 years experience in the investigation of auto theft and fraud. His career has included law enforcement, the National Auto Theft Bureau, and the National Insurance Crime Bureau. He is an internationally recognized expert illegal street racing and drifting related vehicle theft, fraud, and in advanced vehicle identification and theft prevention. He has consulted for major insurance companies, law enforcement, corporations and the news and print media throughout the world.

F.A.S.T. is a Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation, not for the private gain of any person, but for public and charitable purposes; F.A.S.T., the Foundation for Automotive Safety and Trends Incorporated is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation. F.A.S.T. is a Registered Charitable Trust with the State of California’s Attorney Generals Office.

The mission of F.A.S.T. is to protect lives and property by providing education and outreach to both the private and public sector in automotive safety, theft prevention, fraud detection, emerging trends, and illegal street racing related activities.

Illegal street racing and related dangerous driving activities continue to be a socioeconomic problem throughout the world. More training and education needs to be made available to law enforcement and public agencies, and it needs to be expanded to the parent and teen level to make a significant difference. Because of the need for training and education; Mike has taken his experience in this area and, working with a group of volunteers, and formed the Foundation to in an effort to provide training and education free of charge
